Form 12BB
Form 12BB of Income Tax came into effect in the year 1960. It is a statement of claims that employees fill to request deduction of taxes. A 2-page document, it applies to all salaried employees of an organization. A salaried employee is required to submit this form to their employer in order to claim any tax benefits that they are entitled to based on any investments that they may have made during that year. The form can be accessed from the official Income Tax Department of India website.
