Workforce planning refers to a continuous process of analyzing the needs of the organization in terms of what an organization is going to need regarding the size, type, experience and knowledge of its workforce to achieve set objectives and goals set with strategic planning. It is used to plan in advance when a company will need to hire new people and the order in which roles will be filled.
